1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Préhos RxScan application ("RxScan", "the Application"), developed and operated by RxScan Technologies Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Application.

2. Description of the Service

Préhos RxScan is a software application developed and operated by RxScan Technologies Inc. and designed to assist with the identification, interpretation, and organization of medication-related information obtained from photographs, text, or manual entries.

The Application provides information for informational and educational purposes only.

The Application is primarily intended for paramedics, healthcare students, prehospital care providers, healthcare professionals, and authorized users seeking medication-related information.

Users remain solely responsible for verifying any information before using it in a real-world setting.

4. Beta Version

The Application is currently distributed as part of a development and validation program.

Users acknowledge that certain features may be incomplete, some information may be inaccurate, software defects may exist, analyses may be incorrect or incomplete, and service availability may be interrupted without notice.

Use of the beta version is at the user's own risk.

5. No Warranty

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available."

RxScan Technologies Inc. and Préhos RxScan make no warranty regarding the accuracy of results, completeness of information, absence of errors, continuous service availability, compatibility with all devices, or uninterrupted operation.

6. User Responsibilities

Users remain solely responsible for validating displayed information, interpreting results, making clinical decisions, complying with applicable protocols, and using information generated by the Application.

No clinical decision should be made solely on the basis of information provided by RxScan.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RxScan Technologies Inc., Préhos RxScan, its developers, collaborators, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Application, inability to use the Application, medication identification errors, analysis errors, omitted information, service interruptions, data loss, or decisions made based on information generated by the Application.

Users assume all risks associated with the use of the Application.

8. Data and Privacy

Use of certain features may involve the collection or transmission of technical information, photographs, error reports, or other data necessary for improving the Application.

The collection, use, and retention of such information are described in the Préhos RxScan Privacy Policy.

9. Optional Improvement Program

RxScan may offer an optional improvement program allowing users to submit reports, technical data, or analyses for the purpose of improving the service.

Participation in this program is entirely voluntary. Declining participation does not prevent normal use of the Application.

10. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Application, including source code, algorithms, databases, texts, logos, interfaces, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of RxScan Technologies Inc. or their respective owners.

No reproduction, modification, distribution, or unauthorized use is permitted without prior written authorization.

11. Suspension or Termination of Service

RxScan Technologies Inc. reserves the right to modify the Application, suspend features, discontinue the service, or terminate the beta program without notice or compensation.

12. Changes to These Terms

RxScan Technologies Inc. may update these Terms of Use at any time.

The version in effect will be the version published within the Application or on official documentation pages. Continued use of the Application following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute relating to the use of the Application shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Quebec, Canada.
